Haunted Hall at Lake Lotawana

I spoke at a paranormal conference at the Sportsman's Club hall at 29709 East Alley Road, Lake Lotawana, Missouri in 2013 and sat at a table with my books on it for the remainder of the event. In the late afternoon while sitting at my booth I suddenly saw a man dressed in hunting gear carrying a shotgun in one arm, walk through the solid block masonry wall behind me and to my left, actaully walking through a person at another table, then towards the front of the hall to my left. I asked my neighbor if he saw anything but he said he did not. However, both of us felt a very cold chill that coincided with the apparition walking by (and through him).

I later asked some of the conference promoters if they knew if the hall was haunted and they said they were not aware of it, however, there had been an accident on the shooting range about 15 years ago where a man was accidentally killed. That would make sense since the apparition I witnessed was decked out in hunting attire. However, a search for articles on the topic resulted in nothing, so I can't prove that this event actually occurred.

On May 9, 2014 I returned to the location for the annual Jacomo Strutters Wild Turkey Federation banquet. All evening I was on the lookout for any paranormal activity and even had my camera ready just in case anything appeared, but nothing did.  At about 9:00 p.m. I went to the ladies room, leaving my camera on the table with my husband (of course), and when I entered the bathroom I saw two very bright white/yellow balls of light the size of baseballs, come through the door and exit through the block wall on the opposite side.

It is my opinion that this location is indeed haunted and needs further investigation.
